Kreg pocket hole jig

I added extra support to my kreg 3 pocket hole. I milled my wood to the exact thickness of the base of the K3 & as wide as the opening of the clamping area. Then i gave it a back support.

Woods: birch plywood

Tools: table saw jointer thickness planner drill hand tools wood glue air compressor pinner screws

Interesting concept. Looks like it works great.

It does work great. The thing is thers no balancing act with large cabinet sides. Everything is on the same plane as the kreg unit.

Sweet, I think I’ll try something similar.

The one thing i forgot about was a place to put the drill bit and driver bit. Im going to see if i can add a lid in between the rear supports. Just something for you to add to your design.

Heres my attempt. I tried it on a few pieces of large plywood, it works well, thanks for the tip.
