Quickie Moxon Vise

Since I have a lot of dovetails in my next project, I wanted a Moxon Vise for my new workbench. I used a couple of old 1/2" pipe clamps, also picked up a 2×6 at the BORG and processed it to length, four squared the two face pieces and ripped down the back brace piece. A couple of F Style clamps hold it firmly in place, easy peasy.
LOVING the new workbench!

Looks great pat. How’s the height now? It looks like it would be easier to work at the Nixon height.

The height is perfect, this is going to be a huge improvement over cutting dovetails on my last workbench.

Great moxon vise, I’m going to make one for my bench this fall, even with all of my current vises I can see a need with the upcoming table and chair set. Still have another 12% moisture to go down in the birch before I start tho.
