Well done.

This one’s my favorite of the ones you posted. Jeff – You’ve been busy! Trying to get as much completed before the tomorrow? Good luck tomorrow, and hope you have a speedy recovery. I had my sinus pathways straightened a few years ago. The surgery isn’t bad. It’s the ENT going in and clearing out the dried blood and stuff from way back in your sinuses afterwards that really sucked!

Railway Junk Creations ...

how long do you soak your boards for?
i ve only just wiped mineral oil on mine

Jeff Vandenberg ...

All my 3/4" 45 minutes to an hour. 1 to 1 1/4" 2 hours 1 1/2 and 1 3/4 soak for 3 hours 2 inch or more 5 to 6 hours. Then they will drip dry till all the mineral oil has run off and soaked in. Then i let them sit one day and put on my HOT beeswax mineral oil polish. Or my bees wax coconut oil of which is also food safe.
i buy my oil buy bulk each gallon is 7 lbs in weight. I buy 8 gallons at a crack. $51.90 dollars for 4 gallons Or it comes out to $1.87 per 16 oz. Alot cheaper than buying it in the cutting board 8 oz bottles fo like 9 dollars.
here is the company i buy from

Yeah these turned out nice on contrast I wish that knot line would have shown itself better when I was making the darn board. Oh well have two boards like this. I tell people that you’ll never find any other ones like this. Lol
