Mahogany Shaker End Table

I blogged about the build here, if you want to see the details:

https://woodworkingweb.com/entries/534-mahogany-shaker-end-table-the-beginning

There is no knob on the front drawer as per usual for a Shaker Table. Instead I carved out a hand pull on the underside of the drawer bottom, it works well. I have done this before when I didn’t want the knob to detract from the drawer front.
The finish was one coat Tung Oil and several coats of Liberon Wiping Oil, love this stuff. It is easy to control and comes out smooth when lightly sanding btwn coats.

Beautiful little table Pat very nice build.
Not to be difficult but all of the shaker furniture I’ve seen that have drawers always has knobs.

Very nice table, love the long thin legs design. I know it’s shaker but, you still have to build it and you did a tremendous job.
