The Union Jack

This is an end grain cutting board I made for my sister in law’s husband for Christmas last year. It took quite some time to figure out the layout, but some careful drawing and planning on the front end went a long way towards the execution of the final board. There were seventeen separate glue-ups for this board.

Woods: maple mahogany walnut

Tools: table saw router hand planes miter saw
