Special Salt Shaker

Editor's Choice - May 16, 2016

Turned salt shaker made from scraps and clear coat finish. Scraps were oak, cherry, maple, poplar, walnut and a piece of purple heart.

This shaker contains Ghost Pepper Sea Salt so it had to look vastly different than the other salt/pepper containers.

The metal top and rubber plug were left from pepper grinder kits.

Woods: maple walnut cherry oak poplar purple heart

Tools: wood lathe
