Oak and walnut coffee table

Editor's Choice - Jul 29, 2016

This arts and crafts style coffee table is based off of plans from Fine Woodworking magazine. I used white oak for the aprons and the top, and the legs are solid walnut with walnut stretchers. The top features proper pegged breadboard ends to allow for wood movement and is attached to the top with oak blocks that fit into grooves cut into the apron. I finished the piece using General Finishes Arm-R-Seal.

Oh, and there’s a set of 6 birdseye maple and walnut coasters on it too. :)

Thanks for looking!
