Liquor Cabinet

After my liquor was displaced by my whiskey collection, a new cabinet was in order. This underwent many design changes, as usual in my projects. I’m honestly not sold on the final design; I’m not sure what it is, I think in part the legs don’t fit the overall look and leaves the carcase seeming unbalanced. Will have to make a proper base for it at some point in the future.

The doors are Japanese paper, which looks beautiful but is really difficult to get on without any wrinkles or folds!

Madts ...

The cabinet is just beautiful. Like the Japanese paper. I take it that it is applied to glass. I also agree with the feet.

Looks great. I love the top panel. You should do the lower panel the same. But that’s just nitpicky. It’s really beautiful.

Thanks guys. Madts; yeah, I need to build a different base….Brian; I agonized over the paper choice…still not totally convinced of the choice. Not my favourite project, too many design things that don’t fit!
