Steampunk Utility Side Table

Editor's Choice - Jan 03, 2018

Like my other creations, this side table is made almost entirely from a bunch of old junk. The frame is made from an old bed frame and a discarded realestate sign frame. The bottom be and middle shelves are made of a variety of old pallet boards. The top shelf is made from boards I milled out of ancient juniper fence posts and a couple oak pallet boards. The wheels are two pairs of random, rusty belt wheels. The LED light string is is mounted to the bottom of each shelf and concealed in a section of heavily rusted, pitted old pipe with a beautiful patina. Central to the piece is a battered green, rusty steel, four-drawer card file where we will keep living room essentials like the TV remote and coasters.
