Cantilevered sewing box

Sewing box is also for my sisters-in-law, to go with her spool rack. Made from maple I used General Finishes prairie wheat jell coat and water based top coat. Still got some splotching with the maple even with a couple coats of shellac. Thanks for looking.

Woods: cherry

Tools: band saw table saw jig saw orbital sander

Jack,

You certainly cranked that out in record time. And it looks great, too!!

Nice, Jack. WAY beats what passed for a sewing box around my place. Nice enough to leave out on top too (obviously).

Thank you everyone for the comments. I must admit I first started out to build one with 5 boxes rather than 3 but had to beat a deadline.
