Days Gone By

This is my 3rd wood burning project that I have just completed. Using a photograph I transferred the image onto a piece of basswood 15-in. × 25-in. What inspired me to choose this particular image was the complexity of the details and the beauty it shows of the past. I have always loved the old pictures of the days gone by it sure was a pleasure to burn. I added some color to this using a water color pencil which works really well.
