A Rocker for Buding Bikies

All timber [except for dowels] was recycled from roof truss offcuts, biscuit-joined to make up to width needed [ up to five pieces needed for one] planed down to thickness 30mm and 28mm. Finished with three coats of shellac and then four coats of clear poly. when shown to friends a heated discussion on who gets this one, currently making another five.

Woods: off cuts from roof trusses pine

Tools: jigsaw chisels thickness planer lots of clamps. drill press and electric drill

Thanks Thorreain, that is my hope. I have made some other items that have lasted, a couple of doll houses and a toy car garage[ three levels and fixed to it’s own table] the parents tell me that the kids enjoy them in so many ways. Both are climbed over and the younger brother of a little girl has even crawled into the doll house to go to sleep.
