Workshop and timber storage etc. #5: New Years resolutions etc!!!

Hope every one is well and over the festive period?

Well I set a very public New Years resolution last year not to buy disposable saws well I’m chuffed to say I didn’t did well with not buying drinks in plastic bottles too only forgetting a couple of times during the whole year.

The disposable saws rule will stay with the exception of cutting plastics I have no need to quality saws are better all round especially if you match tooth size and pattern to the job.

So what this year?

Well it’s hard but I’m going to sort my milling operation in the short term that’s getting the mobile mill back more and long term is the restoration of the resaw and building a bandsaw mill. I’m tired of the messing I get from mills and timber suppliers some places are excellent but expensive others are a nightmare to deal with.

My other one is to push my skills as a woodworker, produce some new designs of gates etc.
