Thanks for the video. Very refreshing.

The grand kids are loving it. One day they will be making the planes.

Thorreain ...

We’re these for wood or plaster? Was their shooting rails with them? They look to be in great shape, any idea how old they are?

Dave Bardin ...

Thank you Ian for the kind words.
Thorreain they were for wood. No I made the shooting board. I only showed 3 in the pictures and video. I have about 30. They range from 1790 to 1880.

Thank you guys for your time and comments!

Jeff Vandenberg ...

Very interesting. You actually taught me something i had no clue about. Thank you. Love the end of the video. Its great to see future woodworkers learning.

Dave Bardin ...

Thank you Jeff. he wooden planes have always been my passion. Family is my love.

Thorreain ...

I just watched the video, great tools. I have seen similar but they were for making mouldings from plaster. My first real job I worked for a German plasterer seam filling one summer, he had a set for making crown mouldings. That’s why I asked those questions.

Dave Bardin ...

Sorry Chris, I read your comment on a cell phone and failed to read it completely.

I see what you mean.
